The new Bäumer HMI has been awarded the Red Dot Award in the category Brands & Communication Design - Interface & User Experience Design.

After more than a year of intensive development work, TRIM premium, including the new Bäumer HMI, was presented to the public for the first time in June 2025 at Foam Expo North America in Novi, Michigan.

In the end of June the team of Albrecht Bäumer GmbH & Co. KG and Baumer of Amercia Inc. proudly presented an innovation to the market. At Foam Expo North-America the new Contour V-blade, a vertical contour cutting machine, was introduced to all guests. The feedback was overwhelming.

From November 30th to December 1st Bäumer opened its digital doors. Approx. 200 guests joined the online trade show live. The feedback from the participants showed the importance and huge success of the event.

When a new and innovative material is launched on the market, the manufacturer has a lot to consider.

Necessity is the mother of invention. How true this saying became during the Corona crisis is very clear. When from one day to the next travel bans were imposed and borders closed, our field service technicians also had to leave everything on the construction sites worldwide and travel home. One of our affected customers was Ikano Mexico - the new contour cutting machine could not be assembled completely. But we are very proud to say, that we finished the project successfully!

The ABLG-1 is being used to cut blocks to length after foaming. Bäumer has improved the ABLG-1 in order to meet current customer needs with regard to higher productivity.

This horizontal splitting machine boasts many features. Visitors are excited about its applicable versatility, greater cutting accuracy, extremely clean cutting surfaces, less waste and the ability to shorten cycle times.

As inventor of the long splitting system for converting foam blocks with lengths of up to 120 m into paper thin foils, Bäumer already delivered the first looper in 1957.

With the new size, the machine is especially suited for companies that produce large quantities of the same mattress types or for mattress cutters who offer the entire range of mattress widths. Increasing the working width significantly improves machine efficiency.
